We went to Dad & Joan’s for what turned out to be a fun evening of fun and laughter. The usuals were there, Charles, Gay – Ed, Paulette and some of the local neighbors. Dad was in prime form and even had matching shoes on (this time)…LOL
Anyhow check out my pictures and see what fun you missed! Click on the picture to see the rest of them…

Peggy and I had this trip planned since February as this campground books up early. Amish country in the fall is very popular. We were joined by our friends Trevis and Lisa, Neal, Tam, J and their daughter Nici. Click on the picture to see more!
Great to see how the Amish live a hard but yet simple life that appears to be so happy.

Peggy and I spent Labor Day weekend camping at the Ohio Hideaway with our friends. Sunday night the neighboring campground “Sandy Beach” put on a golfcart poker run and we had to enter and join in on the fun. We didn’t win, but we sure did have a lot of fun.
The Hough’s put on one of the stops and dressed up as Hillbillies. Click on the picture to see more from our nite of fun.
Richard and Vicki took advantage of the economic downturn and put some good labor to work and had the face of there home in florida torn off, added onto and then a circle drive added and finished up with a complete landscape job. It looks great and I thought I would share it here.

Ok Laura and I have to be fair about this. Today was more about us than Courtney. Courtney had her wisdom teeth pulled just the other day and really wasnt up to having this today, but hey Uncle Fred wanted Cake and had to finally see Jackson. Besides it was too hot outside!
We had a great time and thought I should upload the shots I took. I even took a video, which is hilarious… Click on the picture to see more~
Courtney your so cute…. Happy Birthday

Tuesday we left Mackinaw City and headed southwest to Traverse City. The weather was cool and rained off and on the entire time we were there but overall we had fun and really enjoyed the beauty of the countryside. Traverse City is a beatiful area, which I think we will go back to.
One day we took a jeep roadtrip and visited several small villages and fish towns. We even took in the new Johnny Depp movie “Public Enemies”, It’s definetly worth watching!

Well I finally have a strong enough signal to upload 132 pictures. Kinda! I cheated a bit and stripped my normal 5 meg shots, so I could get them to upload without having to buy another generator…LOL It’s amazing the issues I have had in finding REAL bandwidth on this trip.
The trip has been an absolute blast and we loved sharing the first portion of it with Lisa and Trev, unfortunately today, they headed south towards home. There spending the night in Coldwater Michigan and we moved over to Traverse City, Mi. Were all setup in Travers Bay RV Resort and all I need to say is WOW. OK, Double WOW, WOW. This is the nicest place we have ever stayed and have actually paid more for much less…
Here are the pictures from the first portion of our trip and will have more once I get home. Click on the picture to check out the rest of the pictures.
More to come so be patient, and remember… Don’t Analyze your Pleasures!!!!
